Hiking
High Tatras offer an opportunity to visit famous valleys and mountain peaks. Gerlachovský štít, 2655m high, is the highest peak in the High Tatras and in the whole Slovak Republic.
Kriváň (2494m) is the “great” peak located in the western part of the High Tatras. It is thought of as a symbol of freedom of Slovak Republic. The mountain is an inspiration for many poets and song writers of all times.
Rysy (2499 m) - is a peak on the main range High Tatras. It creates natural border between Slovakia and Poland.
Lomnický štít (2632m) is the most known and popular peak of High Tatras.
Mengusovská dolina (valley) stretches for 8 km. River.
Veľká studená dolina (valley) - is 7 km long and is very attractive to the tourist.
Malá studená dolina (valley) - stretches across for 4, 5 km.
Štrbské Pleso (1346 m) is the most known and visited lake in High Tatras.
